Edward Owen ‘Bud’ McNicholas Jr., a standout lacrosse player and engineering CEO, dies

Edward Owen “Bud” McNicholas Jr. starred as an attackman at Johns Hopkins University and on the Mount Washington club team, flew planes for the U.S. Navy, and progressed from being a sales engineer to president and CEO at Tate Engineering. He died Sept. 6 at the age of 89.
