‘The ball is in their court’: After Democrats sweep council, mayor’s race, Annapolis Republicans pick up the pieces

Now, the city’s Republican Party must pick up the pieces of the 2021 election and find a path forward to the next municipal election cycle in 2025. Leaders within the party say an analysis of the election results must come first followed by public advocacy for conservative principles such as small government and budget cuts, and conclude with recruiting more candidates to run for office.
