In order to keep the relief bill on track, House of Delegates Speaker Adrienne A. Jones and Senate President Bill Ferguson agreed to remove a recently added income tax benefit for immigrant workers. They promised to pass a separate bill to allow low-income workers who aren’t citizens to receive the credit.
