Comcast, under pressure from politicians and advocates, raises speeds of Internet Essentials service

Comcast is raising the speeds of its Internet Essentials broadband program next month after legislators in Baltimore and in Congress have pressured the company to improve the service while families rely on the reduced-cost program.
