Anne Arundel County Council Republicans stand by rejecting mask mandate; health officer defends override decision

After discussing Anne Arundel County’s mask mandate options with the Maryland Department of Health, the county executive and members of the County Council, Health Officer Dr. Nilesh Kalyanaraman said issuing a public safety order under state law seemed like the best choice.
