Demolition of old Baltimore jail is nearly complete. The state is now planning what will come next.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan climbed into an excavator Tuesday to smash a window in the fortress-like granite cell block at the old Baltimore jail, marking a ceremonial end to demolition there. But it remains unclear when a promised addiction treatment facility will be built in its place.
