Desire to play this fall factored in running back Shane Simpson’s decision to transfer from Towson football

The 23-year-old Simpson said waiting until fall 2021, which would be his seventh year of eligibility, to play was not an option and that he wants to finish his college career before spending next spring preparing for the NFL draft.
