FDA approves use of South Korean coronavirus tests purchased by Maryland’s government

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a South Korean company’s coronavirus tests for use in the United States, clearing one key hurdle for Maryland officials to begin ramping up their deployment of 500,000 tests in the state.
