Former Lt. Gov. Michael Steele, an ardent Trump critic, giving ‘very serious consideration’ to running for Maryland governor

Former national Republican Party chairman Michael Steele says he is seriously considering running for Maryland governor next year, and that the GOP should “stand and fight” for values he believes it lost under Donald Trump’s presidency.
