Maryland House committees advance coronavirus relief act amid bipartisan effort to smooth bill’s passage

As revised by Maryland House of Delegates’ members, the proposal includes one-time direct payments of $500 for families and $250 for individuals with low to moderate incomes, defined as those who receive the earned income tax credit.
