Pikesville girls basketball starts fast, rolls to regional title with 80-31 victory over Western Tech

Pikesville junior Jayda Maylas scored 18 of her game-high 20 points in the first half and the Panthers (16-4) forced 10 turnovers in the opening quarter to cruise to an 80-31 victory over host Western Tech (18-4) on Thursday night in the Class 1A North Region I final.
