Quasi-governmental tourism organization Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County is poised to get it’s second new CEO and president in the last year when Kristen Pironis, former Naval Academy Foundation executive, takes over. Pironis will leave her post as executive vice president of marketing and communications at the foundation, where she has been since 2004, according to her LinkedIn page. She previously worked in communications at the University of Maryland performing arts center and the Maryland Science Center.
