Gilman grad Amir Whitehead found a passion in a majority white sport. He wants others to feel the same joy fencing.

Most of Amir Whitehead’s classmates, friends and anybody among the younger crowd often do a double take when they hear about his passion for fencing. Some even laugh. Adults, though, show curiosity and interest.
