How do Baltimore mayoral candidates want to tackle crime, the No. 1 issue in the race?

Half of all respondents in a recent Baltimore Sun/University of Baltimore/WYPR poll said addressing crime is the most important thing for the next mayor to do. The person who makes the case they can deal with crime most effectively may be best positioned to win a crowded and competitive race.
